Support LSF and its Long-Term Conservation

Support and Endowment

The Lilium Species Foundation is supported through memberships, charitable contributions, and long-term endowment gifts dedicated to the permanent conservation and study of the genus Lilium. General donations provide critical support for current programs, including historical and ecological research, education and outreach, development of living and seed collections, and planning for the Foundation’s future Botanical Research and Public Garden facilities.

In keeping with its mission to operate on multi-decadal and intergenerational timescales, LSF also seeks to establish a permanent endowment to ensure the long-term security of its conservation, research, and educational work. Endowment gifts and legacy contributions are invested to provide stable, perpetual funding for the protection of wild lily species, maintenance of living genetic collections, seed banking, and the continuation of scientific and public programs for generations to come.

Information on making donations, establishing restricted funds, or supporting the Foundation through planned and legacy giving will be made available as the organization’s financial and governance structures are finalized.
