Education is a core part of the Lilium Species Foundation’s mission. LSF is committed to improving public and member understanding of lily species through the sharing of reliable information, research summaries, field observations, and cultivation experience. By making knowledge accessible, LSF aims to foster appreciation for the ecological, genetic, and cultural significance of lilies across their native ranges.
LSF’s educational efforts support conservation by encouraging ethical stewardship, informed cultivation, public outreach with organizations, and respect for wild habitats. Through articles, reference materials, and outreach, the Foundation seeks to connect scientific research with practical experience and to promote long-term preservation of the genus Lilium.
